Pictures from the Past

These pictures were taken over a year ago at our friend Katrina's house. We weren't doing anything crazy but I wanted to try out her camera and boy was I impressed. She gave me this CD a few months ago so I thought I would post them. None of these pictures have been edited in any way, which to me is a big deal. I waste so much time trying to fix my pictures. I still want to know what stuff (lens and or filters or settings) I was using now that I am learning a little more about cameras, how to use them and what the numbers all mean. These pictures made me fall in love with the camera. They just captured the details and sweet faces having a fun time just playing at her house. We miss sure miss Scott, Katrina and Daisy.

I love this kids pouty face.

I think they had just brought out the M&Ms and mints and Ben decided he was done saying cheese.

Dad and Mom

(Ben's comment when he saw this picture, "Mom look there is Grandma and Annie and Mark and Grandpa. Mom, Annie is a girl and she is a princess.)

Grandkids (Jenny and Jill their aunts are just helping hold the little guys.) Emma and Natalie are the only ones missing. 17 Grandchildren with 3 due in the next 3 months=20. This family is really growing.

The Wedding

Saturday Morning was the wedding at the Rexburg Idaho temple. I had never been there before and boy is it beautiful. I love to see the temple, I love to go inside. I am so grateful for the blessings and joy that it brings to my life. I am glad Mark and Annie could be sealed there for time and all eternity! Congratulations!

The cute couple. I wish I had gotten better pictures.

Idaho

We were lucky and got to go Mark and Annie's wedding this weekend. We started early on Friday for our quick trip to Idaho. We got to Rexburg in time to take a quick jump in the hotels pool and then off to Annies grandparents the Oldhams. They were so nice and so fun to be around. We had a fun BBQ, complete with homemade rootbeer, YUMMY!

It was a fun and relaxing way to get to know Annie's family and enjoy their hospitality. I only wish I had taken a picture of them too. It reminded me of being at Deb and Larry's place in Driggs. Totally comfortable, shady yard, horse and cow pens around back. And lots of food and fun stories.
