Just wondering

So I just got done trying to make little Paige happy. She smashed her finger and nothing was working. Finally I realized most of her sorrow and frustration was in me. She was yelling at me to get her a bandaid. Two seconds after I handed it to her she was perfectly happy. So what is it about bandaids that make them so magical? And why do little kids HAVE to put it on themselves? They never stay on and I guess I just have to laugh at her situation. Her pain was all expressed in her desire for this little piece of plastic that is plain and brown and sticks to itself.
Also just to throw a question to the 2 people who read this, does anyone know how to get crayon out of clothes. I had a load of laundry come out multi colored. I am pretty sure it wasn't the kids but it probably came out of my pockets as I was wondering one day and picked up crayons intending to put them back in the right drawer. So if anyone remembers the remedy to get out crayon (and I am a little reluctant to use the WD-40 stuff). In 4th ward or 15th ward in Idaho someone had a FOOL PROOF way of getting it out and I seriously thought I would never forget the simple formula but I can remember a thing or who it was that knew what to do. I thought it was something like 1 TBLSP baking soda with the next load through the drier again. But that doesn't make sense. So please share if you have any ideas. Also now you will know why I have odd marked up clothes on.

Would you could you for an eclair?

Here Ben has his game face on.

Every night we see if Ben can walk yet. He has been soooo close to walking for weeks, so on Monday night as we had Family Home Evening treats again Joey decided to see if Ben could walk for an eclair. Wow does he love these things.
Sweet success! Justin I hope you like this clip.

Fall Fun

This is a leaf Avery found at school. Cool huh.

Payton high marking on the glider. "LOOK AT ME DAD!" is what he was yelling at the camera I guess he thought it was the video camera. Too bad my camera takes like 10 seconds to finally take the picture. I was having a hard time getting a picture with him in the air. So this may not be the highest but he was up there and so excited to show you.

Meet Magic

Justin- This is Magic. The halter is new and huge but I still think she is beautiful. I just wanted you to know who I was talking about. Eric already has tried the saddle on her yesterday.

Blackberry mess

Family Home Evening treat was yummy. I don't know if it was Ben's fault or the person feeding him but he sure enjoyed the blackberry shake.

Take a guess...

Does anyone want to guess what this is. I thought it was interesting I liked the color.

Payton's new business

Can you tell what Payton has been up to lately? His hair do was done with a mans electric shaver. Humm.. I remember him doing that to his head when he was 2. He really didn't want me to take any pictures so this is after a week or two of growing out. He still wasn't happy about this picture. The holes in his hair is what determined his cowboy costume, humm.. a hat that will work.
Poor unsuspecting Paige. I wasn't ready to give her a trim but I guess someone made that decision for me. He took a good 4-5 inches off the bottom. Well at this rate dad we might have a few more bald kids then you left.

Making a surprise for Daddy

Here are the kids making treats to send to dad. Yummy.
Magic Bars
Melt 1/2 cup butter in bottom of 9x13 pan.
Crush one package of graham crackers in the bag until fine. Sprinkle over the butter evenly so it will absorb the butter.
add a layer of each on the crust-
1 cup (to 1 bag:)) chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips (opt.)
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (opt.)
drizzle 1 can sweetened condensed milk over the whole pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until lightly brown.
ENJOY
We hope dad liked these. We love you Babe.

Babies

So Paige was cute last night. She climbed into bed with me and brought her little baby doll with her. She was pretty concerned and said "Momma my baby not wooking (working)," I asked her why, what was she not doing, "Baby Ben wooking, my baby not wooking," I said why is your baby not crying, "Yeah," eating, "yeah" sleeping, "yeeaahh." Poor kid.

Halloween

Payton was going to be a vampire but lost his fake fangs right before the party so he went back to the cowboy look. He gave up his bandanna and was against the mustache and facial makeup so this is how he went. But half way through the party he won a new fake teeth set so he was a cowboy with terrible teeth.
Avery is on the left

Ben Dragon looked like a big stuffed animal. He was really cute when he crawled around.

Avery's wore the Pega-corn (unicorn/Pegasus) costume to school.
Sorry I didn't get great pictures.
