Payton's news

Well it may not be too bad but I wanted to quickly post Payton and his Peanuts sling. We won't find out how serious it is for a while but we wanted to share his big news. He smashed it but not even doing anything wild or crazy for once. I always have to laugh, he can spend all day doing dangerous stuff and when he finally settles down he gets hurt. Like with his teeth almost 2 years ago. He was swinging from monkey bars, climbing on the outside of the toy equipment and going up the slide backwards. Then when I finally get him to go down the slide on his back side he goes to stand up and get off at the end, only to slip and knock his tooth out. So saddly he doesn't have a great story to go with the sling but hey it is cool to be the kid with the cast or crutches.

Graduation (again)

Yep, Justin graduated again. It may take some getting used to but he is now officially an Officer in the Army. Way to go Babe.
The kids and I are loving his two weeks home for hometown recruiting. After this he has another 7 months of training all over so we are still trying to figure out when we can join him.

At the Ball

Well this felt like one of those things that people put on their list of things to do before they die except I never put it on my list. The Officers Ball was fun and surprisingly not much dancing at all.
So I I thought it would be fun to get gloves so I didn't totally look exactly like the Fall Formal in Highschool. But when it came down to it I guess it wasn't much different, except for all the heavy drinking. I guess that is what happens when the drinks are free and yet water is $2. Man that is a whole different world with nothing attractive about it. Shesh...

Check out Justin. I am glad we got this cool picture of him in his bow tie. What a sharp new Officer. It was a lot of fun to have a vacation with just the two of us and not have to worry about babysitting.

A Walk in the Park

Ha, ha, ha, so reading this sign as we went on a jog really ended my questions if there really were Alligators along this river in Georgia. Makes me feel real safe.? Every log and puddle became something to fear. I probably made my best time yet. :)

Horses

The Lipizzaner Stallions- I don't know if anyone else is still horse crazy but I read about these shows when I was younger and thought one day I would like to go. Well all our plans kind of fell through for our exciting trip this weekend and I was not in good enough health to do much of anything. We decided to go for a little walk so I could think about something other then how bad I felt. We stopped by a big building here and decided to check it out and see what events they do in case I get better so the whole trip wasn't a waste. Well they said they have the stallion show and we were just in time. Justin was such a good sport, I don't know how much he cared to spend his evening here but I was grateful to have something to do beside being back in the hotel room feeling sorry for myself. It was cool and maybe someday we can take our kids if we stumble across another show. Justin did say he liked the Spanish rider. I do remember them saying it takes them 45 minutes every day and about 8-10 years to train these horses. So Eric don't worry maybe when Avery is in high school Magic will be trained. :)

Wedding

Well I have been trying for a week to upload a couple pictures for those that couldn't make it to the wedding or reception but the internet has really been against me so here it finally is. The happy couple. What a treat it was to go to the temple and see them be married for all eternity. Candices family is so awesome it is exciting to be related to more cool people. It all went really well and I had fun throwing a wedding video together for the reception that I am jealous of. I hope they liked it. Congrats Matt and Candice!
